Find the deals that need you: the Deals board

Sort by Priority, cut with filter chips like “At risk” and “Stalled”, and let the board tell you where your next hour goes.

What you’ll achieve

A working rhythm where the board — not memory, not recency — decides which deals get your attention, starting with the highest value at risk.

Why this matters

Without a priority order, attention follows noise: the loudest customer, the newest email. Meanwhile the biggest deal in the pipeline slips quietly. Sorting by evidence fixes the attention problem before it costs you the quarter.

The steps

  1. 1

    Read the KPI row first

Five numbers across the top — Deals in view, Open pipeline value, Needs attention, Average deal size, Closing this week. That row is the state of your world in three seconds.

  2. 2

    Sort by Priority

Set Sort to “Priority (recommended)”. Deals rank by a blend of value, risk, and momentum — the ones worth your next hour float to the top. Other sorts (Closing soonest, Recently active) are there when you need a different lens.

  3. 3

Cut the view with filter chips

One-click chips — “All deals”, “At risk”, “Closing soon”, “Stalled”, “High value”, “My deals” — reshape the board for the question you are asking. The Filters popover goes deeper: stages, owners, value range, health.

    • Dormant deals are hidden by default so dead weight does not bury the live pipeline — flip them on in Filters when you want the full picture.
  4. 4

Pick your view: Table or Cards

The view toggle switches between a dense Table and scannable Cards. Click any deal to open the preview rail — “Review insights without leaving the list” — or open the full deal page.

  5. 5

    Act, don’t admire

For each top-priority deal: open it, read the trend and the main concern, and leave with a next step. Use “Watch selected” to keep a deal on your radar, or export the current view to CSV for a meeting.

You’re done when

  • Your default board is Priority-sorted and filtered to your scope.
  • The top three deals on it have a next step with a date.
