Which of these actually answers your question?
We compare what each tool is built to do and separate vendor-reported market context from controlled evidence. Here is where SalesSynq sits next to the tools you are probably already looking at.
Most revenue tools capture one kind of data — calls, activity or CRM history — and score from it. SalesSynq starts from the deal that is about to slip: it scores every deal against the evidence behind it, shows you exactly what it looked at, and tells you when it does not know instead of guessing.
Why do the deals that slip always slip quietly?
Because nothing in your pipeline announces it. The stage still says Negotiation. The close date still says this month. The champion stopped replying five weeks ago and the record looks exactly the same as it did in April. You should not have to find out in the QBR.
The forecast holds all quarter, then moves in the last two weeks. You get asked why in the board meeting and the honest answer is that you did not know. And the renewal nobody was watching goes quiet long before anyone calls it lost.
It does not have to run that way. Pipeline reviews stop being a guessing game. You walk into the board meeting already knowing which deals move the number. That is the whole promise, and the four comparisons below exist so you can work out whether we are the ones who should keep it.
What does using SalesSynq actually look like?
Three steps. You can be through the first two before your next pipeline review, and you can do the whole thing on a file export if you would rather not connect anything yet.
- 1
Connect your CRM
HubSpot, Zoho and Freshsales connect read-only in a few minutes, along with your calendars, mail, help desk and delivery tools. On Salesforce you upload an export instead. Nothing in your CRM changes either way.
- 2
See what is actually at risk
Every open deal comes back scored against the evidence behind it rather than the stage it claims. The quiet ones surface first, with the reason they surfaced attached.
- 3
Act while it still matters
Each deal that needs a move gets one — the specific next step, with the evidence a rep can take into the conversation. Your Monday review starts from the ten that matter.
When the evidence is too thin, SalesSynq tells you it does not know instead of guessing — and shows you what it could not see.
Which comparison should I read?
Pick the one that matches the tool you are being asked to justify SalesSynq against. Each page describes the other product from its own published positioning, says what SalesSynq does differently, and says plainly where the two work better together than apart.
SalesSynq vs Gong
Gong tells you what was said on the call. SalesSynq tells you which deals are going quiet and what to do about them — and it reads your Gong calls as evidence. Read this one if your shortlist starts with call recording.
SalesSynq vs Clari
Forecast platforms are built to project the number. SalesSynq is built so you can defend it, deal by deal, in front of the person asking. Read this one if the CFO keeps asking where the number came from.
SalesSynq vs People.ai
Activity capture is built to record who touched what. SalesSynq scores deals and teams and refuses to score named people. Read this one if a works council, DPO or employee-representation body sits in your approval path.
SalesSynq vs Salesforce Einstein
A score inside the CRM can only see what the CRM holds. SalesSynq reads beside your stack and says so when the record does not support an answer. Read this one if your evaluation is really a question about CRM hygiene.
Can I trust the number when someone pushes back?
That is the test that matters, and it is where these products differ most. When a rep disagrees with a SalesSynq score, you open it: the exact evidence it used is saved next to the answer, and the answer can be worked out again on the spot. The argument stops being about whether to believe a tool and starts being about the deal.
| Dimension | SalesSynq | Typical revenue intelligence platform |
|---|---|---|
| What it is built to answer | Which of your deals is slipping, and what to do about it this week — with the evidence it used saved next to the answer. | Whatever the tool captures best — calls, activity or CRM history — with scores derived from that one source. |
| Where the number comes from | Rules you can inspect. The same evidence always gives the same answer. AI writes the explanation; it never writes the score. | Usually a trained model whose workings are not shown to you, with a written rationale generated alongside the output. |
| What happens when the evidence is thin | It tells you it does not know, and shows you what it could not see, rather than publishing a number it cannot stand behind. | Most tools return a value anyway — which leaves you unable to tell a confident answer from a guess. |
| How you check a score you disagree with | You open it. The exact evidence behind the score is there, and the score can be worked out again in front of whoever is challenging it. | Usually a rationale panel or a factor list — an explanation of the answer, not the answer being worked out again. |
| What it changes in your CRM | Nothing, by default. SalesSynq reads; it does not write to your CRM records. Routing a task into a work tool is a separate permission you grant per tool, and it is refused until you do. | Frequently a native app that keeps its own fields up to date inside the CRM record. |
| Whether it can be pointed at your people | It cannot score or rank individual people. Aggregate reporting suppresses groups below five by default and can be configured no lower than two. | Varies. Rep scorecards, leaderboards and coaching analytics are a common part of the category. |
This table compares architecture and approach. Descriptions of other tools reflect their published design and are not performance or superiority comparisons.
You can check the Synq Score and the risk breakdown behind it against its own evidence — not every raw signal that fed the pipeline. HubSpot, Zoho and Freshsales connect read-only, along with your calendars, mail, help desk and delivery tools. Salesforce data arrives as an upload.
What should I ask every vendor on my shortlist?
Six questions that separate a product built on proof from one built on presentation. They work on us too, and they are yours to use whether or not you ever talk to us.
- Show me a score. Now show me the exact evidence that score came from.
- Work that score out again, in front of me, from that same evidence. Does it come back the same?
- Show me a screen where your product says it does not know.
- Which of these numbers did a language model write, and which came from rules I can inspect?
- What does your product change inside our CRM, and what happens if it is wrong?
- Can this produce a report about a named employee? Show me where that is refused in the product, not in the contract.
SalesSynq publishes no accuracy result for itself and makes no comparative-superiority claim. The vendor-reported figures below are selected market context, not a common benchmark or controlled comparison.
When is SalesSynq the wrong choice?
Often enough that it is worth two minutes now rather than three weeks into a pilot. Four cases where you should pick something else — and several of them are permanent, not gaps waiting to be filled.
- You want call recording, transcription or conversation coaching. SalesSynq never touches your call audio.
- You want a tool that keeps your CRM fields up to date for you. SalesSynq reads; it does not write to your records.
- Your CRM is Salesforce and you need a live connection on day one. Salesforce data reaches SalesSynq as an upload.
- You want a SalesSynq accuracy result today. No customer result has passed the promotion gate, so you will not get one here.
