Set up your workspace in about 10 minutes
Walk the guided setup once — workspace, team, response promises, CRM — and land on a dashboard that already knows how your business runs.
What you’ll achieve
A configured workspace: your team structure, lifecycle stages, response promises, and data connection in place — with every choice safe to revisit later under Admin.
Why this matters
A half-configured tool becomes shelf-ware in a month. Ten focused minutes now is the difference between “another dashboard nobody opens” and a system your team actually plans around.
Before you start
- A SalesSynq account (workspace owner or admin).
The steps
- 1
Start the guided setup
After sign-up you land in onboarding — look for the “10-minute setup” badge. Progress saves automatically, so you can close the tab at any point and resume where you left off.
- 2
Describe your workspace and team
The first two steps — “Your workspace” and “Teams & journey” — capture your organization, locations, team functions, and the lifecycle stages your deals move through. This is what makes every score and warning speak your language.
- 3
Bring in your people (or skip for now)
“Bring in your people” imports your directory so deals can have owners and warnings can reach the right person. It is skippable — you can invite people one by one later.
- 4
Set your response promises
The “Response promises” step applies a preset for how fast your team commits to responding when something needs attention. Pick the closest preset; fine-tuning lives under Admin → Policies → Service levels later.
- 5
Connect your CRM
The “Connect CRM” step links your source of truth. If you are not ready, skip it — you can always start with a spreadsheet upload instead (next guide).
- 6
Decide on collective learning, then finish
The “Collective learning” step asks whether your workspace joins anonymised cross-company patterns. Choose “Continue” or “Skip for now” — it is a real choice, not a dark pattern. Then hit “Open your dashboard”.
You’re done when
- You see “You’re all set” and land on your dashboard.
- Your lifecycle stages and team functions look like your business, not a template.
Do it in your own workspace
Use this guide in an approved private-beta workspace after connecting a supported source; availability and setup depend on your data and configuration.
Private beta access is invite-only and requires approval.
