Read your dashboard in five minutes

Business snapshot, at-risk actions, your day, quota attainment — the dashboard is a briefing, not wallpaper. Here is how to read it, and how to make it yours.

What you’ll achieve

A five-minute morning routine that replaces an hour of tab-hopping: what changed, what is at risk, and what deserves your attention today.

Why this matters

Most dashboards are opened twice: at rollout and in the renewal call. The difference is a reading habit — knowing which three tiles answer “what do I do today?” so the rest can stay ambient.

The steps

  1. 1

    Start with the snapshot widgets

The Business Snapshot and Pipeline Trend widgets give you the headline: pipeline value, movement, and direction. Read them like a weather report — thirty seconds, context for everything else.

  2. 2

    Go where the risk is

The At-Risk Action Center and Closing Pressure widgets surface deals that need a decision — slipping scores, close-date warnings. Each one links through to the deal page with the evidence.

  3. 3

    Check your own day

My Day collects what belongs to you specifically. Pair it with the Pending inbox (see the Pending guide) and you have your personal to-do covered without a sticky note.

  4. 4

    Trust the readiness strip

The “Workspace readiness” strip tells you which insights are live and proven on your data. If a widget seems quiet, readiness usually explains why — and names the next step.

  5. 5

Make it yours with “Customize dashboard”

Click “Customize dashboard” to add, remove, and rearrange widgets. Changes apply to “Your view” only — the shared team view stays unchanged — and you can “Reset to team view” or “Update from team view” at any time.

    • Use the S / M / L density toggle to fit more on screen.
    • Leaders: “Present dashboard” runs it as a slideshow — a ready-made pipeline meeting opener.

You’re done when

  • You can answer “what needs me today?” from the dashboard alone.
  • Your view shows the widgets you actually read, and nothing else.
